Volunteer Income Tax Assistance

We can help this tax season go smoothly.

The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) program offers free tax preparation services to taxpayers with an adjusted gross income of $54,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation to qualified individuals in local communities. Taxpayers will learn about tax credits for which they may qualify such as Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled.

For more information on the VITA program, contact VITA Site Coordinator George Kuebler at george@unitedwaypc.org or (219) 464-3583 ext. 128.

VITA has now ended for the season.
