Asset Limited, Income Constrained, and Employed

A.L.I.C.E. represents Hoosier households with income above the Federal Poverty Level but below the basic cost of living.

Some of these individiuals maybe local childcare workers, home health aides, store clerks and office assistants. Many of them trying to make hard decisions about finances. And, having a job that doesn't pay enough to cover life's expenses sometimes disqualifies them from needed social services and support.

As these individiuals and families face challenges, so does the community. The ALICE Report provides research-based data on Indiana's ALICE population and their financial situation. The original report was released in 2014 with an update following every two years.
