Family & Youth Day of Caring

It's never too early to help your community.

United Way’s Family & Youth Day of Caring is an opportunity to engage with your community and teach youth the importance of volunteerism. All families are welcome!

This year's event will be held at Coffee Creek Watershed Preserve in Chesterton. Volunteers help prepare the park for its busiest season: summer! Families will participate in meaningful stewardship activities with Preserve staff to help out and learn along the way.

Volunteer activities will be available for children of all ages. Children younger than two years old are welcome to attend at parent's or guardian's discretion. All children age 13 and younger must have a parent or guardian present.

If you have questions, please contact Maddie Grimm at or 219-464-3583, ext. 105. Visit the Coffee Creek Watershed Conservancy website here.
