Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program

This program offers free tax preparation services to taxpayers with an adjusted gross income of $54,000 or less. IRS-certified volunteers provide free basic income tax return preparation to qualified individuals in local communities. Taxpayers will learn about tax credits for which they may qualify such as Earned Income Tax Credit, Child Tax Credit and Credit for the Elderly or the Disabled.

Tax appointments are available January 30 to April 13, 2017. Hours of operation are as follows:

Mondays 9 am to 3 pm
Tuesdays 1 pm to 5 pm (except April 11)
Wednesdays 10 am to 2 pm
Thursdays 9 am to 3 pm (except February 16 and March 16)
Saturdays 8 am to noon (February 11, February 18, March 4, March 18 and April 8 only)
