Seeking ten (10) individuals for an AmeriCorps Service Project in Porter County to expand volunteerism in nonprofit and faith-based organizations and to create and coordinate volunteer opportunities for youth. AmeriCorps members serve 1,700 hours for a 12-month period, receive a living stipend, and receive an educational award at the completion of their service hours. Start date September 1, 2007.
