Strengthen Families

The United Way works to help people face the challenges that often tear families apart.  Our goal is to nurture healthy, secure relationships between parents and children.

Prepare Children

The United Way works to help children from earliest chidhood through the teen years develop to their fullest potential.  The United Way works to give them the opportunity to grow up in safe, healthy environments that promote learning and achievement.

Increase Self-Sufficiency

The United Way works to prevent hunger and homelessness and to help people become more independent by providing access to such opportunities as education, literacy, employment and housing.

Emergency Care

The United Way works to help people respond in emergency situations.

Health Care

The United Way works to help individuals and families overcome health related problems.

Help People with Disabilities

The United Way works to help people overcome physical and mental challenges to lead active, productive lives.  The United Way also helps to provide support to caregivers.

Assist Elderly People

The United Way works to help people live as independently as possible and continue as active, contributing members of the community.
