The president assists the citizens of Porter County in developing and maintaining a strong and effective network of voluntary health and welfare services. Sharon coordinates efforts to secure the necessary financial support through the annual United Way campaign for the purpose of providing and maintaining services, under the general policies of the United Way of Porter County as established by its Board of Directors.

Kelly is responsible for increasing the effectiveness and efficiency of the United Way of Porter County in its program of service to the people of Porter County through allocations functions to ensure the best use of United Way funds. She also maintains a high standard of excellence in the financial and office systems.

Madge Whickcar

Madge increases the awareness of the people of Porter County of the health, welfare and other essential services that are available to all citizens in time of need. She involves local members of the Labor movement in the leadership, support, and implementation of needed human service programs.

Traci Owens

Traci assists in the maintenance of a high standard of excellence in the general office operation by providing support to executive level staff members. Along with welcoming people to United Way in person or over the phone, some of her responsibilities include preparing campaign materials during the annual campaign, scheduling and taking minutes at meetings, and coordinating special events.

Kathy Bonaventura

As Director of the Volunteer Center, Kathy's role is to increase the awareness of volunteer opportunities throughout Porter County by recruiting new volunteers and developing an on-line database which matches volunteers with these opportunities.
