Third in the series of four.....Assistant Dean of Students for the Boiler Volunteer Network at Purdue University, Harry Brown will show your organization how mutually beneficial relationships can be fostered with higher educational institutions. Students are an incredible resource, especially in college towns, but how do you make these volunteer experiences rewarding to both your organization and the student? Harry will bring you his experience in directing the Boiler Volunteer Network, and also an agency perspective from his former work with the Greater Lafayette Volunteer Bureau. The workshop will end in a question and answer session from several local college and university volunteer representatives, including Purdue University, Purdue Calumet, IU Northwest, St. Joseph College, and Valparaiso University.
Cost is $50.00 for series/$15.00 individually (includes continental breakfast). Workshop will be held at United Way of Porter County, 951 Eastport Centre Dr., Valparaiso.
